Klahowya, Welcome to Salmon Feast!
Salmon Feast is founded in the spirit of the old Chinook word 'Klahowya', a word that meant 'welcome'. Salmon Feast offers a highly flexible, mobile aboriginal tourism experience for group excursions throughout British Columbia: affordable, culturally authentic dining plus a satisfying encounter with aboriginal traditions. Choose from a variety of aboriginal menu choices, from a tasty snack on the bus to a delicious meal of barbequed salmon and cornbread bannock, plus a wide range of entertainment and educational options -- dancers in regalia, story-tellers, artists, aboriginal youth ambassadors, interpretive guides or informative videos.
You can visit one of Salmon Feast's culturally significant sites or Salmon Feast will come to wherever you want to be. We can also help you plan unique tours by advising on aboriginal tourism features, from artists workshops to archaeological sites. And we can supply hand-crafted jewelry, bentwood boxes and smoked salmon, customized to your companys corporate identity. Salmon Feast's flexibility and mobility let you add an authentic aboriginal cultural experience to one of your regular excursions, creating a unique double attraction.
